Giovanni Allegrini bought the La Grola Vineyard in 1979 to produce Valpolicella's first Corvina wine from a single vineyard. The vineyard continues to produce exquisite Venetian wines to this day. Allegrini are regarded as one of the best growers in the area, if not the entire nation. Rich in flavors of tobacco, juniper, and wild berries, La Grola Rosso is a full-bodied mix of Corvina Veronese, Rondinella, Syrah, and Sangiovese. An absolutely stunning representation of the purest kind of Venetian wine.
